FAN ENERGY REGULATIONS HAVE STARTED!

The California Energy Commission’s Title 20 is a state fan energy regulation that restricts the sale of industrial fans and blowers that do not meet California’s energy efficiency thresholds. Any product manufactured on or after Monday, April 29th is required to comply with this regulation. Replacement parts for existing fans are exempt from this regulation. However, customers who purchase fan components and complete the assembly themselves, are considered the “fan manufacturer” and will be required to comply directly.

Visit our Fan Regulations page to review the complete history of fan energy regualtions and contact nyb if you would like assistance navigating the unvertainty of state and federal fan energy regulations.
